There’s a Sun-Mars-Venus super conjunction in Capricorn right now and all are opposed by Jupiter. Jupiter and Venus are beneficial planets so we may see a lot of harmonious growth in whatever we’re doing right now. Mars is a fighting planet and the Sun is our identity and our light so we’re aligned and strong in the things we’re setting our sights too. However, oppositions are hard aspects and with Jupiter in opposition there’s likely some playing around and some trial and error going on today, perhaps even some light disagreements or at the very least some testing or teasing going on. Playing your cards right this day could grab you some long-term benefits with Saturn ruling this mix. Have a great day!
The solar eclipse today is the final eclipse of 2025, opening up opportunities for fresh starts, as the universe unfolds and expands before us whilst bringing in new themes relating to the autumnal equinox. The autumn equinox is the peak part of the astrological solar cycle, that begins with the astrological New Year at the spring equinox, so it will be no surprise to see our lives changing and shifting around this time with lots of emotional activities and things falling in line with the expression of our core identity, as signified by the Sun.
The chart of the solar eclipse is in Virgo, with Venus and South Node in the same sign, firstly promises that there are going to be some huge transformations over the next few weeks that will be personal for us all and of course, many that will spill over into society as proof of collective shifts. Positive changes are set to happen within our relationships effortlessly and with ease, as facilitated by the applying grand trine to Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini. We will be able to call upon our strength, mental resilience and ability to transform at a deep level in order to adapt to the changes taking place, the build-up to the majority and culmination of these coming forth at the time of the Full Moon in Aries on the 7th October.
With the kite configuration between the New Moon, Pluto, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune, reflections are being made on morality and boundaries, yet many difficulties are now in the past as lessons are being learned and instead, we move towards a place of deep understanding yet with passions for moving ahead and treading new ground.
Distance in romance is a thing of the past this coming lunar cycle with Venus separating from her square with Uranus and a focussed control on fairness in heated debates may take it’s place. Be sure to have a look at where the planets and configurations are landing and in which houses of your natal chart to see which life areas are being activated for you over the coming few weeks.
The Full Moon in Cancer on Monday the 13th January will carry a very potent mix of energies, with many themes both incoming and leaving, creating a portal not very much unlike an eclipse portal. This is because the nodal axis will be activated by the Sun, Moon, Mars, Uranus Neptune and Pluto, promising many changes for us all with opportunities for deep, emotional transformations relating to the past (Pluto in trine to the SN) that will also serve us well over the coming 18 months as the nodes travel through the Pisces/ Virgo axis.
Fresh opportunities presenting new and updated ways to live our lives now and in the future will also be presented, that are more suited to our positive emotional growth and spiritual advancement, promised with Uranus in sextile to the Moon, which trines the NN. A lot will be captured with some relative ease of flow, at the very least compared with December’s lunar cycle, which was incredibly tough and fraught with friction. This time, there could very well be a great amount of compassion with perhaps even some long-awaited forgiveness. With Neptune on the North Node trining the Moon, there could also be some global events relating to some much-needed forgiveness and a final sake of ‘live and let live’ in many cases, so to speak.
Whilst Venus applying to Saturn promises extra responsibilities with added stability where love and finances are concerned, their square to Jupiter also promises continued growth, luck and expansion that will rely on the aforementioned changes taking place during the weeks before and after the coming Full Moon.
There’s a mystic rectangle also appearing amongst the planets this coming Monday between Mars, Neptune, Pluto and the nodal axis, indicating balance, harmony and the larger themes in life being dealt with through a much greater sense of consciousness. However, with Mars still retrograde in Cancer, the current direction may still be focussed on rehashing and re-evaluating emotional or familial/ sentimental circumstances from the past.
Wishing you all the very best and good times for the Full Moon period.
The composite midpoint chart is a synastry chart that’s derived from the charts of two people and can tell us a great deal about the purpose of a relationship and how some areas of life are likely to be expressed and explored between the two. Composite midpoint charts can be cast for any type of relationship – family, colleague, or friend, but in this meeting on Valentine’s day, we’ll be talking more specifically about romantic relationships.
We’ll be looking at the structure of the composite chart, and how to use it including what some of the planets in the houses mean.
There’ll also be room for questions and a couple of example charts to have a look at.
