The coming Full Moon Astrology | December 2019

The Post ~ 12th December 2019

There’s a Full Moon in Gemini this Thursday, the 12th December, exacting at around 05:11 in the UK.

This Full Moon in Gemini is all about learning how to ‘go with the flow’ without a desire to influence or change those things around you that you know you can have no control over. With Mars passing the centre of Scorpio at 15° there may certainly be some extra desire for power or influence lately stirring within us, whether that be simply control over our own lives or something else. But at the time of the Full Moon on Wednesday, Mars will be in a partile trine with Neptune in Pisces and this easy and supportive aspect with Neptune will encourage us to release our grip and allow the subconscious urges that are gracefully artistic and at one with the natural flow of the cosmos to run through us, opening our minds to a more peaceful super-consciousness.

This new peaceful super-consciousness that surrounds us may be a contrast from what we have experienced over the past few weeks as, at the time of the Sagittarius New Moon on the 26th November, Mars in Scorpio was fairly tightly opposing Uranus, who was both in detriment and in retrograde motion. Firstly, I’m not sure if you will remember back to that time but if you do, you may have noticed there were quite a few more accidents happening than usual, as is usually the case reported under the tensions of the Mars-Uranus opposition. Both Uranus and Mars are known for their disruptive tendencies; Uranus’ effects can be both explosive and unexpected while the energies of Mars (especially while in Scorpio) can be both aggressive and unyielding. So, we may have experienced some of this tension energy between Uranus and Mars within our selves and in situations around us over the past few weeks and with the New Moon having occurred in Sagittarius, it’s more than likely that tensions were generally met with a healthy dose of reaction and possibly even some fireworks.

The positive thing about the New Moon was that Sagittarius’ ruler, Jupiter was conjoining Venus, who was at Capricorn’s critical degree and both of these two loosely aspected the Mars-Uranus conjunction I have been talking about. This indicates that love relationships will have had plenty of opportunity for growth and expansion from which to further build positive long-lasting foundations, even if this did arise from a few tensions and arguments. This is of course an awesome ending to a lunar cycle story!

Lastly, with our artistic imaginations and peaceful super-consciousness (both collective and individual) flowing strongly under the Full Moon this week, we also can’t ignore the fact that there will be strong themes of adventurousness, positivity, talkativeness, multi-tasking and mental agility, as our Moon will be Full under Gemini after all.

The coming Full Moon Astrology | August 2019

General Venus topics include love and romance, aesthetics and general appearance, harmony and peace, artistry, creativity, sensuality, leisure and the physical aspects of pleasure that include clothes shopping and retail therapy for home decor and other such things.

The Post ~ 15th August 2019

There’s a Full Moon in Aquarius next Thursday, the 15th August, exacting at around 12:30 pm in the UK.

Once again the Sun will be conjoining Venus in Leo, only this time further on in the sign at 22°. Another difference is they will be much more tightly conjunct, with Venus sharing the same degree of the Sun at 22° Leo, hence the Moon also, which will be in opposition at 22° Aquarius. This information tells us several things. Firstly, that the Full Moon this month is ruled by Uranus and secondly, that we can expect special focus over the next few weeks to be on anything that generally relates to Venus or more personally (and likely) the way Venus relates in our natal charts and via transit.

The coming Full Moon Astrology | March 2019

The term supermoon can be credited to Astrologer Richard Nolle, who admits he ‘created and defined the term in an article published over 30 years ago’.

The Post ~ 21st March 2019

There’s a Full Moon on Thursday, the 21st March, exacting at around 1:43am in the UK.

I have been talking a lot about the critical degrees lately, due to the fact that our last four Full Moons have occurred at 00°. Now the one this Thursday is the final one in this critical degree series and I feel that this is something of both a culmination point and a gateway through into the next phase of life for us; one that can potentially do a lot to help see us through the rest of this year, as we take the energies from these critical degrees through with us. The first one that occurred in November highlighted this important degree of the Gemini/ Sagittarius axis and Jupiter (who has been thriving comfortably in his domicile throughout) has found his way into such a strong position each of these Full Moons, if not positioned right next to the Sun, Mercury or Venus then at least trining or ruling the Ascendant. For these reasons it makes complete sense to me that this passage of time between November’s Full Moon and this Thursday’s Full Moon has been a lot about exploring; especially exploring our options and opening ourselves up to new possibilities in certain areas of our lives that were previously somewhat obscured. There is also the mutability factor of the Gemini/ Sagittarius axis, meaning this passage of time has also been about adapting and this of course means adapting to the new paths we have taken and opened ourselves up to, while allowing ourselves a much wider view of the world (or our worlds) than we were previously capable of.

Tips for making the most out of the coming Full Moon

There’s a Full Moon next Saturday, the 22nd December, exacting at around 5:48pm in the UK.

Again, just like last month, the Full Moon will be at that all-important critical degree (00°), but this time it will be in the cardinal sign, Cancer. As in their cardinal modalities, the four cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, are all about leadership, movement and initiating, just as they each represent the start of a new season (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, respectively). As the critical 00° degree of any sign is also about beginnings, initiation and fresh starts, here is what an Astrologer might call a double whammy in indication of such things, or a double strength in likelihood of them being what this period of time could be about for many of us, most especially for those of us whose personal planets closely aspect the Sun or the Moon on the 22nd December this year. Tips for making the most out of the coming Full Moon

There’s a Full Moon this Friday, the 23rd November, exacting at around 5:39am in the UK.

The Moon will be at a critical degree of a mutable sign this month, therefore there is likely to be a theme in the days running up to the Full Moon and for approximately a week after that, that centres around incorporating some adaptability of our mental attitudes and/ or our perceptions towards our way of living somehow. How this actually unfolds in our lives and in which area of life it affects might depend greatly on which of our houses the Sun and Moon fall into next Friday. The brilliant thing is that the Sun will be conjoining Jupiter with only Continue reading

Tips for making the most out of the coming Full Moon

There’s a Full Moon this Wednesday, the 24th October, exacting at around 4:45pm in the UK.

The Moon at 1°13′ Taurus is all about those creature comforts and kicking back with those closest to you, so this week (especially as it’s the school holidays here in the UK), it will be great to just find yourself time to relax and have fun. Because there may have been high levels of productivity for the majority of the year so far, with Saturn in domicile and creating such brilliant aspects with so many of our Full Moons, it looks like we can finally begin to see some benefits for all our hard work and therefore ease off a little. Tips for making the most out of the coming Full Moon

There’s a Full Moon this Tuesday, the 25th September, exacting at around 2:50am in the UK.

The Full Moon, at 1°59′ Aries, could bring about an air of relief for many of us this week, as Aries is a sign that is known to enthusiastically bounce forwards through any dilemma or event, which could perhaps help some of us to become ’emotionally unstuck’ from some of the things that have been weighing on our minds and our hearts lately. The Moon symbolises our inner, most sensitive worlds and the Full Moon especially has a tendency to help guide us through these in different ways, Continue reading

Eclipse highlights, 27th July 2018

There’s a Full Moon this Friday, the 27th July, which reaches its fullest at 19 minutes past 8 in the evening in the UK.

In Air sign Aquarius, this Full Moon will primarily be highlighting (or bringing to our attention) our own, unique ways of thinking and our styles of communication, especially amongst our friends and in group settings. Usually there is something unavoidable which is staring straight at us, that is deeply meaningful to us, causing us to ponder, or something that is emotionally triggering us during a Full Moon and, with the Moon’s tight conjunction with Mars in Retrograde this month, it could be something we are deeply passionate about or even something that makes us uncomfortably annoyed (or uncomfortably excited, even). An Astrological forecast for this Full Moon period and the fortnight ahead.

Yes, as you’ve probably heard, there’s another Blood Moon tomorrow, which will make it the second one this year! This time the Moon will become Full during a Mercury retrograde in Aries, but, even though we may have all had our own Continue reading

The Full Moon, 2nd March 2018

Your forecast for this Full Moon period and the fortnight ahead.

Simply because the Full Moon tomorrow follows on from two eclipses, the Super Blood Blue Moon Total Eclipse on the 31st January and the Partial Solar Eclipse on the 15th February, I have been quietly expectant of a lot happening this week for everybody due to the carrying over of such potent energies from the previous Continue reading
